As the closing event of the Uzbekistan National Pavilion’s exhibition A Matter of Radiance, a lecture by Professor Steve Woolgar, a scholar in science and technology studies, was held at the pavilion.
Taking the Big Solar Furnace in Parkent as a case study, Professor Woolgar examined how scientific and technological infrastructures shape our understanding of energy, innovation and the future. The lecture was introduced by the exhibition’s curator, Ekaterina Golovatyuk (GRACE).
The event concluded the public program of A Matter or Radiance – Uzbekistan National Pavilion at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale.
